This week we welcomed a group of students and teachers from Styria, Austria to Galway Bay Seafoods for a tour of our business. We showed them around our shop, wholesale factory & smoke house and then invited them up to our seafood kitchen to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch!
The students & teachers were highly impressed with the tour & they enjoyed it!

Last Wednesday at our Sushi demonstration we raised €150 for the Galway Hospice.
It was a great successful night where Masaru Saito, master sushi chef from Japan showed us how to make real authentic Japanese Sushi.

Last Wednesday evening we had a great night here at the Docks with master sushi chef Masaru Saito.
We learned and observed how to make real authentic Japanese Sushi
Born in Yamanshi - Prefecture in Japan in 1946. He became a sushi chef when he was 21 years old. He worked for one of the top Sushi Bars in Osaka for 10 years, then opened up his own shop in the centre of Osaka which he was running up until 3 years ago.

We had Silver Darlings in our shops at the Docks and in Salthill last week doing a tasting on their delicious products....

Last week we had a very busy week in both our retail shops at the Docks and in Salthill!!
We would like to thank all our customers who shopped with us - we appreciate all your support!!
We had a in-store tasting in our new shop in Lower Salthill last Thursday and Friday - everyone enjoyed tasting our freshly cooked up fish and our own Marie Rose sauce and Tartar sauce to accompany the fish were also very popular!!
